Planning a Disneyland trip soon? Well, there’s a new hotel to check out! Located just blocks away from the resort, you’ll find Hotel Lulu Anaheim. We recently stayed there to celebrate our 13 year Anniversary and our two-night stay was the perfect Disney staycation!
Hotel Lulu
This family-friendly hotel opened in May 2021 and has 308 (non-smoking) rooms available to book. It’s been fully renovated with all soft goods in the rooms, a beautiful outdoor pool area, a restaurant and a grab-and-go cafe.
There’s also family-friendly daily and nightly activities, including Craft Time with Lulu (the hotel’s onsite mascot), Dive-In Movies by the pool, pool Deck Wine Receptions for parents and stellar views of Disneyland’s nightly fireworks show.
Lulu’s Kitchen
The SoCal traffic on our way to the hotel worked up an appetite. So I loved that there’s a restaurant on site that offers a variety of options! As soon as we checked-in and dropped off our bags, we headed straight back downstairs to Lulu’s Kitchen. We ordered the Tots (so good to start with), Chicken Fingers, Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken and the Margherita Flatbread. Plus signature drinks! The food was really tasty and definitely hit the spot. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the incredible service we had.
Lulu’s Coffee
When you check-in, you’ll instantly notice Lulu’s Coffee to the right. It’s a grab-and-go cafe serving Intelligentsia Coffee and more. Before we headed to Disneyland (which is just blocks away) we fueled up with coffee and hot chocolate (for the kids) and amazing pastries.
The hotel also recently introduced fun amenities like Disneyland Prep-Kits complete with a drawstring backpack, water bottle, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and park maps to make traveling to the park with kiddos that much easier!
Before we headed home, we had a friendly match of table tennis and cornhole. The outdoor area is a beautiful space, just wished the weather was warm enough for the kids to swim! Guess I have to bring them back in the Spring or Summer.
Disclosure: Thank you Hotel Lulu for hosting our stay. All opinions are my own.
