Happy Halloween Season! We’re celebrating all month long here because it’s not cancelled in our home. I’ll be sharing our favorite treats and crafts, so I hope you’ll follow along.
It’s been hot here in LA, so we got into the Halloween spirit with Frozen Halloween Yogurt Bark. It’s easy to make, just mix plain yogurt with sprinkles and pop it in the freezer. This is the perfect snack for your little goblins…especially during those Zoom breaks. Plus they get a boost of probiotics! Win. Win.
Frozen Halloween Yogurt Bark
Ingredients:
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- plant based food coloring
- Halloween Sprinkles
- Cookie Sheet
- Parchment Paper
Directions:
Mix yogurt in a bowl with maple syrup and vanilla extract. Separate the yogurt into small bowls, I used 3 to make purple, orange, and red (unfortunately with plant based food coloring it looks more like pink).
Cover the cookie sheet with parchment paper. Pour the yogurt and gently swirl (with a toothpick) the colors, be sure not to over mix. Add the sprinkles. Freeze for about 4 hours. Once its firm, cut into pieces and enjoy!
