LEGOLAND CA’s Brick or Treat 2019 is here with lots of BOO-tastic things to experience. We’ve gone for the past three years and honestly, it keeps getting better…and busier FYI, so arrive early! We were there last week and of course had to do a family costume theme. This year, we were a Pac-Man family! Costumes are optional but it makes a night like this even more special.
Brick-or-Treat 2019
This special ticketed event (separate from admission) is happening every Saturday night (Sept. 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, and 26) at 5 p.m. Once inside, you will experience a not-so-scary Halloween party filled with seasonal goodies, monster tunes, and lots of entertainment. My kids favorite part…the treat stations! When you enter the park, be sure to grab the event map – it has show times and treat locations.
Treat Stations Goodies
- Hard Candy
- LEGO® Commemorative Brick (my favorite souvenir because its dated)
- LEGO® Life Magazine
- Healthy Non-Candy treat options, like GoGo SqueeZ
- Pop-up Badge
Entertainment
There’s lots of Halloween shows to watch, and with all that walking for treats, you’ll want to take a break! There’s Midnight Monster Jam where guests help the Monster Crew bring their spooky fun character concert to life! Watch the Wacky Professor as he tries to be the best mad scientist in the world. The kids can partake in the interactive Frankenbrick’s Lab show by using their imagination to bring his LEGO® Monsters to life. They can also sing-along with The Witchettes in the Courtyard Theatre and join in the interactive play, Mail Order Monsters.
Costume Contest
We’re hoping to partake in the costume contest one day because I heard the prizes are really good. There’s three categories to enter: Group, Heroes & Villains and LEGO Themed, as well as a Costume Parade for all kids to join in!
Have you ever entered in a Halloween costume contest?
Brick-or-Treat can be purchased for as low as $64 (if purchased online in advance) and for more info visit Legoland.com
