We recently visited Splitsville Anaheim in Downtown Disney and had one heck of a time. From delicious food & drinks to state of the art lanes – it was perfect place for us to reconnect and get competitive! Sorry kids, Mommy and Daddy came to WIN.
Splitsville Anaheim inside Downtown Disney
What’s Splitsville?
Think of Splitsville Anaheim as an upscale bowling alley located inside the Downtown Disney District. The two-story establishment features 20 luxury bowling lanes, 600 dining seats, two bars, two kitchens and a covered patio with a stage for live music.
It’s a huge venue and the decor inside is so beautiful, I didn’t want to leave. It has a mid-century vibe with a touch of modern that was oh-so-cool. And with its floor-to-ceiling glass windows, you get a great view of Downtown Disney.
Plan Your Visit
Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak times. They do take walk-ups, just be prepared to wait. When you arrive, there’s two lines: Dining + Bowling and Dinning.
Parking
If you’ve made reservations, give yourself plenty of time to get there. The Downtown Disney District has its own separate parking from the parks but during peak times, it can be chaotic. During our visit, our usual parking lot was closed – so we had to drive to the other side in traffic, making us late for our reservation. Also keep in mind the security check points (the lines get long).
And don’t forget your parking ticket, Splitsville validates up to 5 hours.
Bowling
Now on to the fun part! We love bowling as a family and the service at Splitsville Downtown Disney made it memorable. When you check-in, you give the attendant your name and shoe size. That’s also the time to request bumpers.
And here’s why I love Splitsville. At most bowling alleys, once you request a bumper (that thing that blocks the gutters so kids have a chance to knock the pins down), it stays there, making it less competitive for the adults. Boo. But at Splitsville, its programed to go up for the kids and goes back down for the adults. How awesome is that?
We had a lot of fun bowling, especially with Mickey & Minnie etched bowling balls!
Food & Drinks
We did the Dining + Bowling experience which is great if you aren’t that hungry and just wanted to do shared plates to munch on. Because it was a challenge for me to get my boys to take a break from bowling to eat their meals. Next time we’ll dine first and then bowl. If you decide to eat and play, be sure to keep those hand sanitizers handy!
The extensive menu was filled with food and drinks that weren’t your ordinary “bowling alley” food with a side of grease. You’ll find SoCal favorites like fresh sushi, pasta, craft burgers and more. Everything we ordered was beyond delicious. I’d come back just to eat…and then check if there’s an available lane to play. LOL

Hard to resist desserts…

And the cocktails I ordered were so refreshing…and I blame them for losing against Danny.
