Last week, Caiden and I went on an incredible Summer camping trip hosted by Single Moms Planet and the Boy Scouts of America. We spent 3-days/2-nights at Camp Emerald Bay – located on the West end of Catalina Island and away from Avalon. This was a much needed trip for us to experience together. We both left our comfort zones and had the BEST time.

Day Two
Once the Boy Scouts left…we had the entire campsite to ourselves! Our day started with a beautiful hike where we looked for animal tracks and learned more about the island’s topography.
We ended our adventure filled day with a campfire and s’mores….the perfect way to say good-bye to our new friends. And because of this trip, Caiden is ready to join the Cub Scouts!
