Got Crayons? Well, if you’ve got kids then you most likely have lots and lots of CRAYONS. And if they’re like mine, then you probably have collected crayons from restaurants, hotels, and favor bags! But what do you do with all those gently used ones? I try my best to UPCYCLE them and turn them into new shapes…but most of them head for the trash until I learned about
Crayon Collection!
What is Crayon Collection?
The Crayon Collection organization’s mission is to inspire a commitment to environmental consciousness and the infusion of art education in underfunded schools. Crayons don’t decompose, so the Crayon Collection collects them and donates to teachers needing classroom supplies.
They are also the official charity partner for Penquin Random House’s crayon books, “The Day the Crayons Quit,” “The Day the Crayons Came Home,” and the rest of the series.
