We are BIG fans of the Star Wars franchise and cannot wait to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Christmas day (it’s a new tradition)!
From all the reviews I’ve been reading, it’s gonna be EPIC. In the newest installment, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens is in theaters today, December 15, 2017 and since we’re waiting till Christmas, we’re getting crafty and having a Star Wars themed family night!
It’s so much fun and so easy to create this Star Wars Tree.
Supplies:
Mini Christmas Tree
Mini Ball Plastic Christmas Ornaments set
Star Wars The Last Jedi Tattoos
String Lights
Star Wars Felt set
The kids loved customizing ornaments with tattoos. Just place the tattoo cutout (don’t forget to remove the film) onto the ornament, dab with water, wait a few seconds, and carefully peel off the paper. How cute this Porg ornament?!
The Star Wars Felt set comes with everything you need to create 10 characters. They’re not pre-cut but there’s stencils…and if you don’t feel comfortable stitching, use a hot glue gun to attach the pieces!
To complete the tree, string your lights and use a Star Wars shirt as a tree skirt. Hope this inspires you to have your own family craft night. May the force be with you.
