Golden Moments Tips for a Date Night at Home
1) Plan Ahead
Although I love the idea of being spontaneous with my husband, planning ahead makes it more special. We both have it in our calendars and it becomes something we look forward to at the end of the week, especially with our busy schedules. When it’s our “date night,” the kids are well fed and ready for bed ahead of time.
Also, make sure to plan out the evening before the date. Are you gonna cook together? Is it going to be a movie night? There’s been times where we’re figuring out what movie to watch and when we finally agreed on something…we’re so exhausted to enjoy our moment together.
2) Keep it Sweet & Simple

3) Connect
Our date nights at home are usually a movie night or binge watching a new show. But before we hit the start button, we like to have a conversation with cocktails in hand. I have to admit, having a conservation with my husband is a challenge. Since I’m home all day with the kids, my conversations are limited to toddler talk. 🙂
