School may be in session, but that doesn’t mean the Summer Fun has to end! If you’re in the Los Angeles area, the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival is happening now till September 3rd.
“All the World’s a Stage” -William Shakespeare
Watching a Shakespeare performance under the stars make the perfect date night but if you can’t find a sitter…children are welcome. On special nights, there’s a “Players in the Park” Family Workshop that promptly starts at 5pm.
Caiden and Ronan recently experienced the interactive workshop and took a backstage tour before the show. They got to meet the actors, see the props being used, and do fun theatre exercises. The best part…they got to walk on stage and catch a dress rehearsal.
The Independent Shakespeare Company is the non-profit organization that brings these free performances to life at the Old Zoo in Griffith Park. For more info visit http://www.iscla.org.
