Thank you Bounty for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
Keeping kids busy during the Summer can be a challenge, especially if it’s too hot to go outside. But luckily for me, my boys love to get creative and will happily spend the afternoon, CRAFTING.
Bounty with new Despicable Me 3 prints are in stores for a limited time, just in time for summer break with the kids and all the messy activities that come along with it!
In celebration of Despicable Me 3, now in theaters, we’re decoupaging the limited-edition Bounty quilted napkin prints on canvas and using the Bounty paper towels to make clean-up quick and fun!
Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by gluing cut-outs (usually paper). It’s super easy to make with your kids and here’s everything you’ll need for this Minion project:
Bounty with Despicable Me 3 prints napkins
Paint
Decoupage Glue
Canvas
Paint Brushes
**Tip: Use Bounty paper towels as a place mat to keep your table free of paint and for a quick clean-up!**
Instructions:
Carefully tear away Minion motifs from Bounty with Despicable Me 3 print quilted napkins (I did this part). Have your minion child place them on the canvas and help brush decoupage glue over the design. We did about 2-3 coats of glue.
Now here’s the fun part…paint! I didn’t wait for the Minions to dry, so be careful and it’s okay if it’s not perfect. 🙂 I love how you can see the texture from the Bounty quilted napkins!
My little one had so much fun creating this beautiful mess. You can see that he preferred to paint on the napkins. LOL
Hope you enjoy making this craft with your kid(s). Keep the celebration going and be sure to check out Despicable Me 3 in theaters now! Rated PG, it’s a great pick for everyone in the family.
