When it comes to frozen treats, I prefer to make them for my boys so I can sneak in all the good stuff. Shhh. I also know exactly whats inside, which means – less sugar and no artificial junk to worry about. That’s why I was excited to try the new Nuby Fruiticles for Ronan! The popsicle molds are recommended for 6+ months and unlike my other molds, the design fits perfectly with his small hands and the BEST part…it catches the drips as it melts.
Lately I’ve been making smoothies using Kefir, since benefits include a rich source of calcium, protein, B-vitamins, probiotics, and more! For this post I wanted to give the boys all the healthy benefits in frozen form, making them a Kefir Pop with mangoes, figs, and chia seeds. They were a hit without the mess!
Kefir Smoothie Fruitsicles
1/2 cup of Plain Kefir
1 cup Frozen Mangoes
1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
1/4 cup Frozen Figs
*Honey to taste*
Blend all the ingredients, pour into the Fruitsicles container molds (do not fill to the top) and freeze.
Shop the Nuby Fruitsicle Ice Pop Molds here:http://amzn.to/2nbqnV4 at Amazon. Each mold includes 4 molds with handles and a freezer tray.
