Last year, I hosted my first Mom’s Night Out: Drink, Mingle, and Create! event and we made Vision Boards for 2016. We had a lot fun! It was a great way for busy moms to get together and mingle…while creatively putting our goals onto poster boards.

Messy Fun |
So what’s a Vision Board?
Invite your mom friends over (without the kids) and ask them to bring a bunch of magazines…the more you have, the more materials and variety you have to choose from. Have them bring inspiring personal photos as well.
Provide poster boards, scissors, and glue sticks for each person. Make sure to also have decorative adornments like washi tape, stickers, glitter, etc. for everyone to share!
Don’t forget the light snacks, drinks and WINE! You can also keep it simple and budget friendly by making it a potluck and asking friends to BYOW – bring their favorite appetizer and/or bottle of wine to share! Tip: Use Evite to invite friends instead of a group text. It’s a better organized way to see who’s able to come and what they’re bringing to the party!
Before everyone starts working, get the conversation going and ask your friends to talk about their most important goal for 2017. Make sure to let everyone know – the best way to attract those goals, is to display their board somewhere they’ll see everyday and away from the kids...my board got destroyed by Ronan. 🙁
Oh, take photos of the night…have fun and Enjoy!!
