Up for a game of chess? Disney’s Queen of Katwe is based on a true story about a girl from Uganda whose world changes when she starts playing chess. During opening weekend (September 23-25), Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theatre will have a special engagement of the upcoming film with 20 year-old Grand Master Chess Player, Daniel Naroditsky of San Mateo, CA, ranked #7 in the nation. Prior to the movie, Naroditsky will take on two audience members in simultaneous chess matches. He’ll also be sharing tips and tricks about chess. And following the movie, guests will be able to ask him questions about chess in the lower lounge.
