Two weeks ago, my boys and I had the opportunity to check out Holiday Snow Days at Legoland, California. It was also Ronan’s first visit to the park, so we got him a pin as a special souvenir! **If it’s your first visit-make sure you ask for one-they’re FREE!**
We had a great time, even though it was crowded. Since Caiden and Danny visited the park back in July, during the “Kids Go Free” offer-which I love…we opted to head straight to the Snow Play area first. Who wouldn’t want to play with snow in 60 degree weather, right?
Caiden and I had so much fun playing with giant Lego pieces in the snow. I used them to help gather up the snow to make snow balls for him. He loved throwing them…at the designated area, of course. 🙂 Thank goodness I came prepared with gloves! My little guy started complaining after a few minutes of snow play-he thought it wouldn’t be cold since it was fake.

We definitely worked up an appetite that justified my craving for Granny’s Apple Fries! They’re the best…and I’m seriously craving them right now as I type! Granny’s Apple Fries are a Legoland original made of fried Granny Smith apples that’s dusted with cinnamon and sugar and served with vanilla cream dipping sauce. YUM!
There wasn’t much that the baby could do at the park. But he was obviously very comfortable being there…because he slept peacefully. While Caiden and Danny went on the “big kid” rides, I took Ronan on stroll to Miniland, USA. Did you know, they’re all constructed with 20 million Lego bricks…pretty amazing to see up close!
Ronan and I also went to the Sea Life Aquarium…another first for him…and he loved it! It was cute seeing him trying to get these Moon Jellies’ attention. Since Caiden wasn’t with us, the Aquarium was a quick walk-through that was about 30 minutes long. It’ll definitely be longer when he’s older. 🙂
We ended our evening with a family boat ride on Fairy Tale Brook and fireworks! Thanks Legoland!
Holiday Snow Days has ended but if you’re a fan of The Lego Movie (like we are)…on February 6th., “The Lego Movie 4D A New Adventure” will be premiering at the park! Check out the trailer…
