**My first post of the year!! I’m a little behind (I know).**
For the past months, I’ve been trying to get my 16-month old DS to drink whole-milk. The transition from breast to cow milk has been a challenge because he hates the taste. So, in order to trick him into drinking milk…I’ve been making him milkshakes using fresh and frozen fruits…and a little bit of honey! 🙂
Last week a friend brought over avocados from his mom’s garden and let me tell you…they were perfectly ripe and delicious!! Thanks again, Joe…nothing beats “local” produce. I made an avocado milkshake for the first time and my DS loved it!! It’s a sweet, creamy and smooth drink that you have to try for yourself…and it’s perfect (and healthy) for kids, too!!
Enjoy!!
